Abu Dhabi is one of the seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates. Society Abu Dhabi could meditating long on the revenues from oil reserves. Compared to the more famous Dubai Abu Dhabi deserves much more oil, making it largely dependent on the oil supply to the Belgians and Dutch. The success of Dubai as a luxury holiday destination, transportation hub and commercial center of the Middle East, it seems that Abu Dhabi wants to go on the same side. The oil reserves will not last forever provide billions of dollars in revenue, which also makes sure that Abu Dhabi is preparing for a different future. You will also see that Abu Dhabi is undergoing a similar transformation and growth spurt that was by neighboring emirate Dubai, as clearly perceive and. On the islands around the capital will be built considerably, new roads are built that will lead to the expected traffic flow 3, 4, 5 and even 6 lanes to the modern parts of Abu Dhabi. Who now by Abu Dhabi driving with a navigation device in the car will notice how many intersections and roads are adapted, modified or not on the map of the TomTom. You will therefore be especially trying to partly to navigate your feelings and based on recent cards.
Abu Dhabi is currently more Arab than the cosmopolitan Dubai. You notice that the people in the street jumble, the shops, the restaurants and the fact that there are considerably fewer people on the street during prayer in the mosques. Abu Dhabi is open to visitors, is more modern than neighboring countries, but still slightly more conservative than Dubai where almost everything seems possible. Who Abu Dhabi visit will therefore have to realize that the way people interact with each other than with us. As a western tourist you why you should stick to the local norms and values. With a drop of alcohol in your blood drive is unthinkable, as showing public affection (kissing, hugging), homosexuality and topless sunbathing.

Nice to see how the locals closed the coast in her arms. Walk Boulevard Corniche is a popular place among the locals, especially at the end of the day you see here quite a few people strolling. The ports and piers are popular evening to stay with friends, family or loved ones. picnicking together, dancing, singing and talking on the rocks along the coast and between the ships is the most normal thing in the world here.

Abu Dhabi traffic is hectic and parking is, especially in the center, more and more difficult because of the increasing traffic.
