(French: Côte d'Ivoire, English: Ivory Coast) is a country in Africa which borders Liberia, Guinea, Mali, Burkina Faso and Ghana. Ivory Coast has been independent from France since 1960. The capital of Ivory Coast Yamoussoukro. A number of major cities in Ivory Coast: Abidjan (former capital), Bouaké and Man.
Ivory Coast General Informations
Ivory Coast is a country plagued for years by civil wars. Therefore it is not recommended for tourists to travel to this country. Unfortunately, therefore many tourist sites withdrawn from consideration. The country has beautiful white beaches, huge banana plantations, tropical rainforests and mountains.
