Taiwan (Republic of China) (Chinese: 中華民國) is an island in Asia, which consists of the eponymous island of Taiwan and some smaller islands (among others Kinmen, Matsu and Wuciou). According to China and a majority of the international community Taiwan is a province of China. The capital of Taiwan is Taipei. A number of major cities in Taiwan: Kaohsiung, Xindian, Táijhong, Zhanghua, Jiayi, Tainan and Gaoxiong.

There are four mountains over 3500 meters which Yushan is the highest at 3952 meters. The island is a real impressive skyline with skyscrapers, temples and a beautiful coastline. On this coast, you can among other things, surfing and diving.
